Our Preschool-Level Workshop Themes
Digging for Dinos!
Kids are introduced to the meat-eating and plant-eating Dinosaurs. They get to look at some dinosaur fossils up close and work as paleontologists. They participate in a mini dinosaur dig. They get to cast/print a Dinosaur that engages their attention and helps them improve their scientific knowledge.
Magical Magnets
Kids discover the surroundings with magnets. They do hands-on activities with different-shaped magnets. They make their fridge magnets to take home. Perform experiments to test things that stick to the magnet or not.
Mad Seasons
Preschoolers will explore there are different seasons & the role that weather plays in our lives. They will learn how humans, plants, and animals adapt to seasonal changes in different ways. They will design their very own windsock to take home.
Animal Friends
Kids will learn about the diverse creatures on Earth and witness real tooth and claw replicas. They will learn Vertebrates & Invertebrates and explore special feature called camouflage to help them survive their environment.
Space Frontiers
Jr. Mad Astronauts set out on a mission to experience life in outer space and explore the various challenges and demands facing real Astronauts while in space. Learn how Astronauts have to work together as a team and adapt to the harsh conditions when living, working and breathing in space.
Lights & Colors
In this workshop, pre-schoolers will discover the science behind the colours of the rainbow within white light. They will explore the coloured shadows and how we see the different colours. Through fun learning and hands-on activities, they are introduced to the concept of reflection of light. (Dark area required for the experiments)
Seeking our senses
Kids are introduced to their senses of sight, touch, hear, smell and taste. Through hands-on experiments and activities students will have the opportunity to explore the importance of all five senses.
Bugs, Bugs & More Bugs!
Preschoolers will learn all about insects and their body parts. Through hands-on activities, they learn how they protect themselves. They solve puzzles to see where insects live.
My First Lab
This workshop introduces preschoolers to the exciting world of household kitchen chemistry. They observe similar-looking materials that behave differently and learn how they react when mixing. This session helps to enhance observation skills, ensuring safety while handling substances. They make bouncy balls to take home.
