Summer Camps 2026 (Week of July 6-10 & July 13-17)

Let's Get Chemical (Afternoon Half Day Camp)
Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Ages: 6 to 11 Years old
Location: Beaumont Sports & Recreation Centre
Day1: You're in Lab
Day2: Molecules in Action
Day3: Kitchen Chemistry
Day4: Crazy Concoctions
Day5: Radical Reactions
Have ton of fun & whip up potions! Mix it up & experiment with molecular madness, radical reactions, “fizz”-ical & chemical reactions! Campers will experiment with their lab equipment & spend the day creating cool chemical reactions under the supervision of dynamic instructors.

Day1- Super Structures
Campers will learn while creating, building, and testing strong structures. They will use their imagination and the awesome tools provided to create different structures and bridges. Work together with your fellow civil engineers to build and test different bridge designs. Then use what you've learned to create the strongest bridge possible. Take-Home: Truss Bridge

Day2- Aerospace
Campers learn about astronauts and their life in space. Discover the secrets of aerospace engineering–efficiency and compact design. Create a space station and connect it with others to assemble a massive modular spacecraft. Take-Home: Mad Science Rocket

Day3-Water Works
Learn about buoyancy and surface tension with different hands-on activities. Create a sea-worthy vessel as you set sail with nautical engineering! Build a test boat with Lego bricks powered by potential and kinetic energy. Then try changing specific variables to improve speed, buoyancy, and stability. Take-Home: Wave rider

Day4- Nature's Creature
Be an eco-explorer and learn about animals. Discover nature's engineering secrets as you investigate biomimicry! Build a walking insect machine using Lego bricks and then test different ways to help it climb up the steepest branch. Take-Home: Peacock Puzzle

Full Day Camp (9 AM to 4 PM)

Day5- Transportaion
Learn about forces and how they can make things move. Get in gear as an automotive engineer! Assemble a motorized vehicle and learn how to optimize it. Work in teams to design and build a transport vehicle strong enough to carry a heavy load. Take-Home: small hovercraft

July 13 to 17 (Morning half day camp)
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Ages 5-7 year olds
Location- The Derrick Golf & Winter Club
Get ready to blast off in Outer space and navigate the Celestial bodies, constellations and more! Campers will explore the Stars, moon, and jump from star gazing to rocket construction. Learn teamwork as astronauts and take a closer look at satellites. With fun demonstrations, hands-on learning and take-home projects, this camp is going to be out of this world!

Ages 8 to 12 year olds
Location- The Derrick Golf & Winter Club
Have fun finding and magnifying nature’s smallest creatures, engineer animal habitats, pour plaster casts of animal tracks, make recycled paper, and sunprints! Campers will have a blast as they explore concepts related to ecosystems, recycling and more with hands-on activities and demonstrations. Everyday is filled with excitement, learning and take-home projects.

Want to learn a little bit of everything from motions to potions!! Grab your explorer's hat and find the secrets of colorful lights, create crazy concoctions and decode the secret messages.
