Gr. 1- My First Lab

This workshop focuses on following the instruction, both verbal and written through safe chemical reactions happening right in the kitchen. Students get hands-on with basic tools and learn how each tool is used to ensure precision and safety. Using everyday materials, students will see how science is part of daily life and how accurate measurements and careful steps lead to successful results.

Gr. K- Explore your Senses

Students boost their observing skills by testing similar-looking materials that behave differently using their senses. They learn how their some of the senses (sight, touch and smell) can help identify them. Fun & engaging hands-on activities help them explore the daily life around us.

Gr. 1- Mad Seasons

Students will explore the different seasons & the role that weather plays in our daily lives. Through engaging & interactive activities, they will discover how humans, plants, and animals adapt to seasonal changes in unique ways. They will examine how people adjust their clothing, plants grow, and how animals migrate or hibernate to survive varying weather conditions.

Gr. K- Rainbow Lights

In this workshop, students will uncover the fascinating science behind the colours of the rainbow hiding within white light. They will explore how the coloured shadows are formed and how our eyes and brain work together to perceive different colours. Through fun learning and hands-on activities, they are introduced to the concept of light reflection and how we see things around us.

Gr. 1 - Moving Motion

Students will explore different ways in which objects can move including turning, spinning, swinging, bouncing, vibrating and rolling. Through hands-on activities, they will learn how the position of an object can be changed by applying different forces. They will build their own moving project to take home.
